This ''bed & breakfast'' concept studio is meant to isolate you from your usual disturbance, taking you far away, in the land of analogue, kingdom of vintage through a forest of tubes! The St-Joachim Recording Church is a uniquely calibrated variable acoustic 500 000 cubic feet live room, a floating "Live End / Dead End" control room design, many dry and wet booths, a complete guest house connected to the studio and a huge collection of rare, restored instruments. Set in a converted catholic church up north Québec, the Saguenay based studio is the first to have a 1/3 octave calibrated live room of that size that is publicly open and meant for recording. With the help of two engineers that have lots of ideas, everything is possible... In other words, we literally come with the place! We are analog guys in a digital world, taking advantage of both realms to sculpt the sound you want to have for your record. If you don't need us, we'll gladly make the coffee! But chances are you'll want our ears to fully take advantage of our versatile rooms. Take the tour to fully understand how uniquely this recording paradise has been carefully thought.
